JUMP, or Jack’s Urban Meeting Place, is a nonprofit interactive creative center and community gathering place. It’s a space to celebrate the human spirit. Where collaborations, encounters, workshops, festivals, exhibitions, performances, and community projects can inspire, educate, and connect. It’s where everyone can discover new possibilities and explore their potential.
An experience at JUMP is an invitation to look at the world and yourself in new ways and to try things for the first time. JUMP is not just the name of this place; it also drives our mission. It takes gumption to jump since sometimes jumping can feel risky. However, when we do finally jump, we are able to change our perspective, expand our possibilities, and enrich our lives.

Oneirology : Exploring Dream Interpretation Through AI“oneiros” = Dream, “logia” = StudyDreams exist in a space both ephemeral and universally impactful. This installation explores the boundaries of dream interpretation and the subjectivity involved in translating these abstract experiences. The process starts with documenting dreams, focusing on key imagery, emotions, and sensations, which are then transformed into video interpretations using textual AI. This approach underscores the inherent limitations and biases in AI, shaped by human input.This project doesn't aim to perfectly capture dreams but to spark dialogue about the intersection of our internal experiences and rendering them through external tools. The discrepancies between AI visualizations and personal recollections of dreams offer opportunities for introspection and self-exploration.At its heart, this installation probes the nature of consciousness and dream interpretation, inviting viewers to reflect on the interplay between human subjectivity and AI 'objectivity'. It's a journey into understanding the ineffable, which also highlights the persistent gap between human consciousness and artificial intelligence.
Illumibrate is a free to the public, family friendly, light and color festival. This year we are expanding it to a full day event to welcome more people, and in an effort to manage the crowd and maintain proper building capacity we are asking the community to register for this free event.
